Jimmy Butler, a professional basketball player for the Miami Heat, was the 30th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. He was named the NBA's Most Improved Player in 2015. After six seasons in Chicago, Butler was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017. He then joined the Philadelphia 76ers in 2018 and signed with the Heat in 2019.

In his debut season with the Heat, the team reached the NBA Finals, and in 2021, Butler led the league in steals. He is a six-time NBA All-Star, a four-time All-NBA Team member, a five-time NBA All-Defensive Team member, and an Olympic gold medalist.
